The Snail Factory incident marked the third coming of Djinntron, who had previously manifested only twice before, first to crush the wicked King Almulkesharir in 1399 and then again in 1919 Boston where it was mistaken for an overflow of molasses.
A more astounding ability of the Djinn is the capacity to alter which blurbs are considered canonical. Though the last Djinntron blurb clearly stated the genies were spectacularly unsuccessful, the genies were quickly able to move the blurb of their failure outside of Snail Factory canon and into the "It was all a dream" section of fiction, right next to the fanfic sewer and alternate universe bucket. Thus they managed to try again and cover the factory in the thick bubbly blanket depicted above and wreak havoc upon the Factory's diurnal employees.
