The Ninth Episode marked a return to form after the debacle of the eighth. Depicting the effects of a taffy puller upon the common chameloid, Episode 9 was intended as a cautionary tale befitting the codes of standards and practices of the era. When interviewed about the physical control and exertion required of the episode, Dr. Pepe Moco was asked whether his appearance here was painful to attain. He replied, "Sssiiiiii." His performance was rewarded however, as the event was heralded as the biggest paradigm shift in the art world since Wagner's Ring Cycle, which coincidentally provided Pepe his first on stage role while living in Bayreuth.
